Hello, I am Kate.
It has been a long-standing dream of mine to open a store.
My passion for interiors began early - as a little girl I could be found repeatedly re-arranging my room, when I wasn't playing on the 'Changing Rooms' CD-rom (and doing impressions of Carol Smilie!).
I grew up in beautiful, rural West Somerset, where villages own their local shops and close-knit communities thrive. This deep-rooted sense of connection and local pride has been a conscious influence in my commitment to support British makers through Min Sol.
Before Min Sol, I built my career in marketing, and, for the last decade, within British, founder-led, B Corp certified businesses.
Nurturing these inspiring purpose-led brands brought me so much energy and experience and I feel very lucky to channel these learnings into my own British, founder-led business.
I truly believe that beauty does not need to come at the cost of natural, sustainable, and ethical craftsmanship and our curated collection, with many purposeful brands reflects this philosophy.
